Daniel Wu

Wu Yin-jo was born in San Francisco in 1974. He majored in Architecture in university. After his graduation in 1997. he was discovered whilst traveling in HK and began modeling part-time.
Wu is a martial arts enthusiast. and has trained in martial arts since his childhood. After Wu met Jackie Chan. he was introduced to his agent Willie Chan and soon embarked on a career in film. Wu`s first film role was in Yon Fan`s Bishonen. and he also participated in City of Glass and Beijing Rocks both directed by Mable Cheung. Subsequently. he appeared a number of high-grossing blockbusters. including Gorgeous. Gen X Cops. Purple Storm. and 2000 AD. In 2001. he once again collaborated with director Yon Fan in Peony Pavilion adapted from the novel of the same name. Wu`s chiseled good looks and his serious attitude have secured him a unique place within a new generation of onscreen leading men. Wu`s film credits also include Young and Dangerous: The Prequel.
